The Kindle Fire is the best thing to happen to the google android tablet market. I wish all the cell phone companies like HTC, Motorola, Blackberry and Samsung (the galaxy tab is a great tablet just expensive) just focus on making better looking, faster phones and make them as thin as possible with great battery like. Apple, Amazon and Microsoft will handle the Tablet market. Save all that money and RnD for different devices.

You can find a Chinese google android tablet with the same specs for cheaper way cheaper.I have the next book premium 7 and I really enjoy it, its very fast and does pretty much everything a $400 tablet can do for $129. For all you one be techs that are complaining, if you no what you are doing this Tablet can be rooted, also Android Market will also work on this tablet. I was skeptical at first but once I was up and running this tablet rocks, videos are clear, sounds good, fast speed, wireless b/g/n, I have great signal, and yes Netflix does work without root as well..

Even internationally I would argue there are too many tablets in the market for there to be enough demand.Especially when you think of the amountof people that buy a google android tablet other then the iPad, and the amountof tablets out there. The market is just way tooover-saturated. This is the reason why we are seeing HP firesales and reports of the playbook possibly stopping production. And those are the big names with tablets that have fairly unique products...
