PC gamers build pcs now, traditional movie rental stores are closing, music stores are closing, little computer tablet pc shops are closing or moving online, etc... People are starting to avoid Best Buy and walmart for buying pcs, and for good reason. But when buying a mac, a mac is a mac and not some nonsensical 16 gigs of ram with the slowest current cpu best buy refurbished pos.

I don't know that tablet pc manufacturers would agree with that. Revenue dollars don't help much when you need profits to grow and maintain a company. PCs are in decline especially net books and laptops. The iPad has indisputably taken a massive bite out of those markets. Desktops I can understand, but laptops? Anyway, you still need a PC to build apps for these mobile devices.

Android tablet has always made more money off their wares then everyone else. Because they charge more while giving the consumer less. This is not up for dabate. This is fact. You simply need to do a breakdown of cost to see it. This has been their standard MO since day one. Its because their user base will pay anything as long as it has a fruit on it instead of having the option of thinking critically about their purchase choice. You get once choice. Would you like silver with that MBP or.....silver.

If android tablets and e-readers have the same percentage of growth they did last year then PC's will most definitely not be the leader of the pack...  We're just the beginning of the post PC era. Sales of other things will only continue to rise. I still don't believe the PC has seen its final days though.
