Marinwood to get new 50W led flood light

Marinwood residents are getting new energy efficient espow.com come late January or early February within a plan to avoid wasting electricity and taxpayers' money.

The Marinwood 50W led flood light Services District voted recently to own single bidder Republic ITS in Novato, belonging to technology giant Siemens, complete the $95,030 project. The modification will replace 242 from the district's 291 questionable sodium street lights with light emitting diodes.

Marinwood Community Services District Manager Thomas Horne said the 50W led flood light is sensible given the rates for maintaining the prevailing street lighting is slated to improve by $489 annually.
